First Issue 12" Buzz Lightyear Ultimate Talking Action Figure
This is the true original Ultimate Buzz Lightyear Note the yellow stripe across the front of the box. This packaging was only used for the first production run of the toys in the fall of 1995. They were almost universally sold out by Thanksgiving of that year when the movie premiered. For the die-hard Toy Story collector, this is the quintessential item for your collection.
In all other respects, the toy is the same as all of the other model 62809 toys. He has Tim Allen's voice from the movie soundtrack saying "To Infinity And Beyond!", "This Is An Intergalactic Emergency!", and "Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue!." His wings pop-out, his helmet dome retracts, his arms, hands, and legs are fully poseable, and his laser gun in his arm lights up and buzzes. Best of all, he looks just like Buzz did in the movie. So often at toy won't look like the animated character, but this Buzz is the spittin' image. Just an amazingly well-designed toy, fun to look at, and even more fun to play with. We love Buzz!
